History
KNKS was localized from Project 507 of the Wathnakpheap Organization in January 2003 and registered with the Ministry of Interior on March 18th, 2003.
Staff
In 2010, KNKS has 15 (5 female) full time staff, 4 (one female) Cambodian students volunteers.
1. Mrs. Sok Sothavy, Executive Director
Mrs. Sok Sothavy holds a Bachelor Degree of Human Resource Management from the University of Management and Economics in Battambang, Cambodia. Now in her eighth year as Executive Director of KNKS, Mrs. Sothavy is responsible for overall management, fund-raising, strategic planning, strategic partnerships, and human resource management.

Mr. Khun Bunlee, Program Manager
Mr. Khun Bunlee earned a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, in the field of General Management from Build Bright University in Battambang. He brings in his ten years of experience in works of Administration, Translator, Finance Assistant, and Program Manager Assistant. He is responsible for Program and financial Management, the planning, management, and quality of all KNKS projects.
3. Mr. Saing Sowady, Accountant and Administrator
Mr. Saing Sowady received a Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Management and Economics. He has had 5 years experiences of Community Development and 6 years of finances and administration management. He is responsible for the finances and administration management of organization-wide.

Mr. Nop Nat, Child Development Project Coordinator
Mr. Nop Nat graduated with a Bachelors Degree of Psycho Social Counseling and Pedagogy from the Regional Pedagogy Centre in Battambang and has 16 years experiences of project management. He leads three project areas of Child rights, Health, and Education.

Mr. Mom Sambath, Community Development Project Coordinator
Mr. Mom Sambath
was sent to study on Project Management and Organization Management at Pannasasra University. He began his career at KNKS as a Community Organizing Project Assistant for 6 years, as a Community Development Project Coordinator for 3 years. He leads two project areas of Community Organizing and income generation.

Ms. Tep Navy, Child Rights Project Assistant
Ms. Tep Navy earned a degree in Pedagogy at Pedagogy University in Phnom Penh. She has had many experiences of education, child rights and income generation sectors. She began her career at KNKS as a Education project Assistant for 3 years, as a income Generation project Assistant for 2 years and Child rights project Assistant for 3 years. She now focuses on child rights awareness and education, including the right to a healthy life.
7. Krouch Poch, ED Project Assistant
Krouch Poch
earned a diploma education. He has had experiences of Education and Administrative. He began his career at KNKS as a Education Project Assistant for 3 years, as an Admin assistant for 4 years and a child right Project Assistant for 1 year. He now focuses on child rights awareness and education, including the right to a healthy life.
8. Mr. Chhom Sarath, Community Organing Project Assistant
Mr. Chhom Sarath graduated a pedagogy training teacher. Now he is studying a Bachelor of Management at University of Management and Economic. He has experiences working as a teacher at state school for 10 years, and working for LNGO as social worker for 2 years. He begins his career at KNKS as a Community Organizing Project Assistant for 1 year.

Mr. Ly Chamreoun, Health Project Assistant
Mr. Ly Chamreoun graduated a Bachelors Degree of management at the University of Management and Economics in Battambang province. He joined the KNKS staff in 2004 after serving as a volunteer for two years. He has working as health project assistant for 3 years; and as a Community Organizing Project assistant for 2 years, and as a Education project Assistant for 1 year. Mr. Lee Chamreoun has experiences with community children, youth, community leaders and Commune Councils to build capacity for self-governance in improving community Development.
10. Mr. Ouch Vuthea, Administrative Assistant
Mr. Ouch Vuthea is a new graduated a bachelor degree of management at University of Management in Pursat. He was a volunteer with KNKS for 1 year; and now he becomes a full time staff as an Admin Assistant.
11. Mrs. Sok Sambath, Social Worker
Mrs. Sok Sambath earned a diploma education and began her career with KNKS as store keeper for 5 years and then promoted to be a social worker, taking care of children victims in the Safety Centre in Kandieng district.
12. Ms. Hang Rithy, Receptionist
Ms. Hang Rithy earned a diploma education, began working as office assistant. She now works as a receptionist.
13. Mr. Keo Yen, Security Guard
Mr. Keo Yen is a policeman. He has experiences to promote laws against child trafficking, and drug trafficking to department officers and community people. He involves promoting on laws against child traffciking and drug trafficking to KNKS target
beneficiaries.
14. Mr. Dom Sary, Security Guard
Mr. Dom Sary is policeman. He has experiences to promote laws against domestic violence to department officers and community people. He involves promoting on laws against domestic violence to KNKS target beneficiaries.
15. Ms. Moun Chreung, Cook
Ms. Moun Chreung is a cook for children at the centre. She a graduated food skill trainee.
16. Mr. Hanese Schumarcher, Volunteer
Mr. Hanese Schumarcher is
a volunteer from Germany. He works with KNKS as a Marketing Project Assistant for 6 months in Pursat Province and Admin Assistant for 6 months in Phnom Penh.
